Program Requirements

The Department’s formal program requirements can be found on the Division of Graduate Education (DGE) website – https://grad.ucla.edu/programs/humanities/comparative-literature/.  Students should make sure they are referencing the correct academic year in which they started their studies (tab back to prior academic years). What follows is meant to clarify and supplement the DGE program requirements. Students should always refer to the DGE program requirements as their official requirements of record. Any questions should be sent to the Director of Graduate Studies and/or the Student Services Advisor.
