Departmental Honors Program
Departmental honors is an excellent way for students to deepen their understanding in Comparative Literature and conduct research through close mentorship with a faculty member
Requirements
- Minimum 3.5 departmental GPA and 3.25 overall GPA
- Extra course in primary language area
- Two honors papers, written in two of the four required upper division comparative literature courses during the quarter in which a student is taking the course
- COM LIT 198 – directed research with a core faculty member
Note that department honors is only open to Comparative Literature majors
